
Uhmmm Choclate Cake!!!
Last week was a washout. I picked up a cold, which left me unable to do any training. So a big fat zero for the training log. I was actually looking forward to getting started on laying the foundation for the year, but is going to have to wait. Hopefully this coming week I will be able to start getting some easy miles done.
Not being able to train and with the extra christmas kilos, I have been a little more careful with with the amount I have been eating. I also did a few simple sums to see how many daily calories I need and when inactive it's not many. 1750cal is roughly what I need before I do anything, I have given myself an extra 250cal for day to day stuff, before exercise, giving me 2000cals to play with, or 3x500cal meals, plus 2x250cal snacks. Not much when you start food label surfing. Then another 500-800cal for every hr exercise, depending on type and intensity of training.
Now to loose those Christams Kilos I need to use up more calories than I am taking in. All very simple stuff, the hard part is the hunger and not reaching in to the biscuits, cakes, chocolate etc as they pack alot of calories quickly and easily. I wil just have to get on with it.
